Gina Adams scored 25 points and Abby Carrington added 21 as Westlake won the Elyria district championship on Friday night. This is the Lady Demons first district title since the 2015-16 season. Abby Carrington and Summer Salem made back-to-back 3-pointers in the third quarter to extend the lead. Hot shooting from Faith Lewis kept Amherst in the game until the Lady Demons pulled away in the fourth quarter.
