The Demons survived another tough SWC road matchup with a 44-34 win on Wednesday night. Avon Lake got out to an early 12-4 lead but 3-point shooting by Gina Adams and Emma Hall got the Lady Demons back in the game. Westlake’s zone defense kept the Shoregals from ever regaining the lead.

The Lady Demons bounced back from their first conference loss and defeated Avon Lake 48-41 on Saturday. Westlake trailed at the half but used their full-court press and a 23-8 third quarter to get back into the game. Abby Carrington led the Demons with 15 points and Gina Adams had 14.

The Lady Demons added another SWC win to their record with a 3-0 victory over Avon Lake on Wednesday night. After a scoreless first half the Demons got on the board thanks to a Summer Salem penalty kick goal after an Avon Lake foul. The Demons continued to pour it on with goals from Emma Jaros and Sami Jablonski as time ran out in the game.
